Hello, lovelies! Just so you know, I'm not dead or anything! I've just been dealing with a super-nasty bout of depression lately. I have a few good days... and quite a few bad, bad days. It sucks! All I want to do is sleep. I have no energy or motivation to do anything. I even stopped caring about stuff like updating my blog, and that's just awful! I'm going to try and get my butt back into gear.
       Today was a pretty good day, I shared a cake that I baked last night with all my co-workers and they all said it was really delicious! I also went for a short bike ride, and found out how out of shape I have gotten! I really need to exercise more. I can't even ride up itty bitty hills without my knees aching, and my heart pounds so hard I feel like passing out! Not good, hahaha.

       This is my birdy friend. He likes to try and steal my recyclables and compost when I leave them outside!

       Yumm! I used this recipe, and it turned out great. Other than being a bit dense, you couldn't tell it was vegan!

     My self-esteem has been pretty low lately, boo! But, I took the time to do my hair a bit and put on some makeup this morning, and took a few webcam pictures! It made me feel a bit better.

Good day, lovelies! How are you? I'm trying to do a lot of schoolwork right now before I go on my trip, to Calgary in a week, and I find that I'm really easily distracted! Yikes! Anyways, I just wanted to show you some of the photos I've taken in the past while! I just started learning how to use my Canon A-1, and it's super fun! I really can't wait until I develop some actual skill.

And so, my loves, I would love to show you where the greatness which is this, Mishelle, Ma Belle, is created! (Is that, enough commas, for you?) Hehe! I just finished putting up my photo string, which I have been meaning to do for a long time.

Yippie! Hopefully as I take more pictures I will make more and have my room photo-licious. Mwahaha. Now, the true genius- my desk.

Yeah! This is where I blog, paint, do school work, and waste pretty much most of my time. My mom keeps trying to get me to get a new desk, but I'm kind of in love with the fakewood theme my room's got going! I definitely sit at a camping chair while I do my desking. Comfort? Totally. Mobility? Not so much.

And this is my crappy attempt at making a panoramic of most of my bedroom. No, you may not see the floor, because it is extremely messy and cluttered right now. So is my bed, if you couldn't guess. :) If you haven't noticed, I like retro-inspired things, and space! Amazing! There's also some of my art scattered throughout my room, and once I crank out a few more paintings, I think I'll make a post showing you guys them! Whee!

Anyways, it's quite past my bedtime right now. I've got Chemistry class tomorrow morning, eek! Must get much-needed sleep! I love you all, have a great night and I will be back soon!

Cortes!

First off, I would like to sincerely apologize for my lack up updates as of late! I just got a job on a lovely island a couple of hours away from my house, and I've been trying to figure out where I am going to stay or live or whatnot. It's been very hectic! I'm at a friend of a friend of mines, temporarily, and all I have to do is not make a mess and do his dishes. Pretty good deal, I think! Anyways, yeah, so I'm on this beautiful island off the coast of British Columbia. It's fairly small, and the people here are very friendly. Since the place I work at is at least a 20 minute drive away, I either have to haul ass bicycling or hitchhike, which isn't too bad. I might be bringing over a motorhome to live in, or I'll find a room or house to rent... either way, I'll find something. I'll probably only be here for the summer anyways! There's a community dance tonight, I might end up going and mingling, and I could bring my camera... Here's a link to my facebook album so far, and a couple pictures from my journey...

Things! Are! Getting! Better!

I've been spending some time with myself, started volunteering at my local thrift store (which could possibly turn into a job! Glee! Money!!) and while my social life is still a muddle puddle of confusion, I've got a couple good people to hang out with again. Even though it's pretty much summer, I've dwindled away my savings and getting to Shambhala is looking bleak, I'm alright. The other day, some good friends of mine and I went on a nature walk through the woods and to the ocean.. it was so beautiful!Yay! I found batteries for MY camera! It's not the Fujifilm s1000, which takes gorgeous pics... that's my momma's. No, I have the glorious HP Photosmart M425... a.k.a. The Grey Beast. It's only 5.0 megapixels, with 3x optical zoom... but it's MINE, all mine, I can take it wherever I want, photograph whatever I want, and drop it as hard as I want! (...Which is why I never get my mom's camera, I'm fairly clumsy.) Haha! Creepy face on tv~

So this is what I look like while I'm blogging, apparently. Note the fashionable double-hoodie action for extra warmth (Mother doesn't believe in the furnace going in spring, apparently.), and freshly cut bangs, complete with stray out of place chunks of hair! Woohoo! I also included a pic of my smexy desk/blogstation (I got the desk itself when I was about 8 or 9 from my grandma)... Here's a breakdown!

• Logitech Quickcam somethingoranother- This is my webcam. It takes decent quality thingers, makes me look super pale, I likee.
• Altec Lansing speakers (upper right corner)- MMM best birthday present ever. These lil badboys feature a banging subwoofer, and for their size and cheapness I would say they're the best thing that ever happened to my desk area.
• Acer monitor w/ iTunes- Yeah. I like itunes. If I could get my hands on a really old version of winamp, I'd use that, but I find this is the next best as for organization and ease of use. The monitor, well, it's a monitor. I don't like widescreen 'cause it stretches all my shizz.
  
• Burnt CD & Discman- It's how I roll. I never seem to have time to update my stupid iPod, so I have a gazillion burnt cd's rolling around. This particular cd is the first one I ever made! It's awful!
• Cup o Tea- Essential. Orange pekoe with a bit of cream and a half spoonful of sugar, plz.
• Other stuff- Picture of my dad and I as a baby, Mom's reading glasses, post-it with important phone numbers, electrical tape (?), lottery ticket (not a winner!), super-cheap optical mouse that came with our computer, pink cover for my cellphone (motokrzr k1m represent!) and... lots of crumbs. I like to eat at the computer.
