More reasons why I'm not posting much!

This is my traveling face :\
So, I know I am supposed to be majorly focusing on my schoolwork right now... but for my birthday, my boyfriend got me plane tickets to Calgary and back! So that's where I am right now. I'll be back home on Monday, yay! I do love traveling and all, but I've been really anxious this whole trip. It's pretty annoying. Oh well. Talk to you soon, lovelies! ♥

Argh!

Hey lovelies! Sorry I've been lacking in interesting posts and all, but I have had a tonne of schoolwork to do lately! I'm taking a flexible-distance physics course and I left myself five months of work to do in two. And, the deadline is coming up! I have my second midterm on Tuesday, and I'm also taking a Chemistry course, and tutoring my boyfriend's little sister! It's super stressful, so I'm trying to devote as much time as possible to studying so I can get it over and done with. Anyways, I'll try and throw a couple of posts in here and there! Don't worry, I shalln't forget about you! Have a wonderful night! ♥ ♥ ♥

Las Fotografias!

Good day, lovelies! How are you? I'm trying to do a lot of schoolwork right now before I go on my trip, to Calgary in a week, and I find that I'm really easily distracted! Yikes! Anyways, I just wanted to show you some of the photos I've taken in the past while! I just started learning how to use my Canon A-1, and it's super fun! I really can't wait until I develop some actual skill.

Yeah! I think once I develop some more rolls of film I'll make an account on Flickr. But for now, have a wonderful day! Always keep in mind- you are loved, you beautiful creature, you! ♥ ♥ ♥
Ps. I have absolutely fallen in love with the song Debaser by The Pixies. How have I not heard it before? I used to listen to The Pixies all the time! I think they're amazing! Check it out!

How Interesting!

How would the world look if humans suddenly disappeared? How about after 10 years? A thousand? Stuff like this really intrigues me!

A Moment of Relief

So, my loves, I just finished have a mild-to-moderate mental breakdown on how my closet could just take an object and, seemingly, warp it to another dimension. Of course, that other dimension turned out to be the kitchen cupboard. What the hell? Why would a book from my bedroom closet be in the kitchen? Smacking my head in the top of my closet probably didn't help me out much, either. But all that aside! I have found what I was looking for!
Yes! Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland & Through the Looking Glass! It's hardcover, illustrated by John Tenniel, and it says it was published in 1946. I don't know how legit that is, but it smells pretty old! It was a gift from my ex-stepfather's parents, but that was a very long time ago, and I've read it very many times. So, my dears, how would you feel about getting your hands on this bad boy? I've still got a few more ideas for the giveaway, but if you'd like to share a suggestion, then fire away! Anyways, I must get back to doing my schoolwork. Have a wonderful monday, pumpkins! ♥ ♥ ♥

SoftMoc Shoe Drive!

Hello lovelies! Are you in Canada, like me? Because if you are, the Canadian company SoftMoc is partnering up with Soles 4 Souls and having a shoe drive to support the survivors of the Haitian earthquake disaster. Just bring your gently used shoes to any SoftMoc location before January 22nd! Me and my mom raided our closets and have a nice pile of shoes to donate. I know you've all got those shoes hiding around your house that just don't fit right, or you simply never wear! Why don't you do something good and help out someone who doesn't have shoes to wear at this time of crisis? Anyways, if you're interested, check out http://www.softmoc.com/ for more info, and store locations. Have a great day, lovelies!
ps. If you're not in Canada and still want to help out, there's tonnes of foundations you can donate to! I know the Red Cross is definitely accepting donations, as is Yele Haiti. ♥

I Pretty Much Suck at Saving Money.

It's true, dears! I was doing so good at not using my bank card and having a budget of $80 per paycheck... but then... bang. I went to Winners. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely adore discount stores, but ah! There was just too much amazing stuff! It's like they heard me coming and decided to put out all the adorably ugly things from the back, just for me to discover, take pity on and buy. Anyways, I actually put back a whole lot of things I was thinking about getting, but here's what I left with:

This lovely peacock feathery dress was only $30! The tag says Speechless, which I've never heard of before, but from checking out the website you can find it at Macy's and Rampage. We deff don't have those stores around there but I think they're nice? Anyways, it's quite cleavage-bearing, thus the hand censor, and it had a cute sparkly pin that went right beneath where my hand is, but there were a bunch of gems missing! Poo!

Okay, so I just realized that this is an awful awful awful picture of me. But it's not about my face, anyways! Check out that crazy skirt! It totally looks like something my Barbies would wear! It was only $12, too. The shirt my mom bought for my friend Mr. Wafflez, it says "Hot Waffles To Go" on it. Cute!

And here we have a totes cute mirror (I just took it out of the package, it actually has no border at all! Too bad I can't hang it on my walls because I live in a lame trailer. Boo!) , some weird zebra lingerie thing that was like $13, and super cute Betsey Johnson tights! Yes, I finally found some! They were $7, which is more than I would usually pay for tights, but now I can say I own something Bestey Johnson. At last! I am so stoked, and I absolutely cannot wait until it warms up some so I can wear tights outside again.
Yeah! That's about all I've got for you right now, but here's a song anyways. Have a wonderful day my lovelies! ♥♥♥

Lovely Sounds!

Haha... found on tumblr somewhere! And no, that song is not on my music list. Ew!
Hello, loves! I just realized that I haven't really done a good music post in a while. What kind of craziness is that?! Geez! Well, actually, I haven't really been listening to much music lately. Quite odd!
Hmm... this seems depressing! Eek! Sorry! Here you go!

Oh! And how could I forget...

A lot of people I know don't really like Girl Talk, claiming he "ruins songs" and stuff... I completely disagree! I don't think that he is trying to improve the classic songs, he's just having fun with them. Plus, he's so talented! It all flows so well, and if you can find a listing of all the tracks used in one song, you'll probably be amazed. He takes samples from everywhere! It's nutty!
Anyways, my lovelies, have a wonderful day! I love you all! ♥ ♥ ♥

Home is where the heart is...

And so, my loves, I would love to show you where the greatness which is this, Mishelle, Ma Belle, is created! (Is that, enough commas, for you?) Hehe! I just finished putting up my photo string, which I have been meaning to do for a long time.
Yippie! Hopefully as I take more pictures I will make more and have my room photo-licious. Mwahaha. Now, the true genius- my desk.

Yeah! This is where I blog, paint, do school work, and waste pretty much most of my time. My mom keeps trying to get me to get a new desk, but I'm kind of in love with the fakewood theme my room's got going! I definitely sit at a camping chair while I do my desking. Comfort? Totally. Mobility? Not so much.

And this is my crappy attempt at making a panoramic of most of my bedroom. No, you may not see the floor, because it is extremely messy and cluttered right now. So is my bed, if you couldn't guess. :) If you haven't noticed, I like retro-inspired things, and space! Amazing! There's also some of my art scattered throughout my room, and once I crank out a few more paintings, I think I'll make a post showing you guys them! Whee!

Anyways, it's quite past my bedtime right now. I've got Chemistry class tomorrow morning, eek! Must get much-needed sleep! I love you all, have a great night and I will be back soon!

...And this is what Boba has to say on the matter. What a grumpy little miss! ♥ ♥ ♥

Who wants to buy an island with me?

Hey lovelies! Excuse my lack of maturity, but I absolutely had to share this with you guys. My mom found this little gem while browsing oceanfront properties, and I fully believe that it is my destiny to own this island. For I present to you,

It's only about one million dollars, but I figure if I find enough people to pool their money together with me... well... Wouldn't that be awesome?!?! Owning Dick Island? Which just so happens to be shaped like male genitalia?!~ We could make Dick Castle, and call ourselves royalty! How fun would that be! Ah, to wake up and watch the sun rise while sitting and sipping tea off the eastern nut... :)

Video Games!

Hello lovelies! Here's a post on the things which take up most of my spare time (Next to painting and studying, and mindlessly browsing Facebook of course!)... Video games! *dun dun dun* My wonderful man actually got me a PS3 for my birthday, and I love it so much! We've only got a couple games so far, but I'll let you know what I think of the ones I play. First and foremost...
  • Oblivion! This is my favorite game in the whole wide world. I even have it on my laptop! I've played all three versions of it, and next to computer, I think the Playstation version is pretty decent. The controls are fairly easy to use, and it's a very straightforward game. It starts out with a very detailed character creator, where you can tweak their faces quite precisely. There are a number of races and backgrounds to choose from, each with their own advantages and disadvantages. From there, once you complete the orientation, you are free to explore the world as you please. There is one main quest line, and a gazillion other quests you can choose to do, factions to join, skills to acquire... ahh. What a wonderful time waster! In the 31 days that we've had the game, my boyfriend has actually logged over 70 hours on it! It is soo addictive!
  • Dragon Age: Origins - I just got this RPG for Christmas, and haven't really been able to play it much. It seems to be interesting though, for you can choose a race and background, and start off with a unique story. I'm pretty sure all the stories end up at the same place, in a giant war against some evil forces. It's your typical fantasy game with the character choice of Human, Elf or Dwarf, and you can choose to be a Warrior, Mage or Rouge, each with different bonuses. You have a main character and a party of up to 3 other characters, which you can switch to at any time. So far, it's pretty fun, but I haven't quite got all the controls yet which is pretty annoying. Oh well!
  • Skate 2 - Yes, this is definitely my boyfriends game. He wouldn't let me create my own character on it, and I didn't want to mess up his account, so I haven't got to try this one much. It seems pretty fun, especially since you can move things around in the environment, and get off your board, which I'm pretty sure you couldn't do in the original game. You do tricks by moving and flicking the analog sticks, and it's not too hard to get a grasp on. I think I will look forward to playing this one more.
  • Lego Batman - I also got this for Christmas, and I am stuck on the first level. Seriously. It is so upsetting! From what the instruction manual says, it should be a really fun game. You can play as Batman, Robin, or any of the villains! (Once you unlock them, that is.) So maybe I'll sneak a peek at a walkthrough, and get past that damned first stage.
We also have a Need for Speed game, but I haven't tried it yet. Usually I am really really bad at realistic-type racing games! I like MarioKart a lot though :3
So my deers, what do you think? Do you love gaming as well? Hate it? Think your console's better? Have a favorite game you'd like to share? I'd love to hear it all! ♥ ♥ ♥

What do YOU want to do? (& hair!)

Good afternoon my lovelies! How are you this fine day? I totally had a great idea for a post at like, two in the morning last night when I couldn't sleep. But then I finally fell asleep and now I can't recall! How lame. Oh well! At least I got some sleep.
So now it's a new year, and the start of a decade. I just listed my new years resolutions, but how about some stuff I want to do over the decade? Actually, this was my list of stuff to do before I die, but if I do it all in the next ten years, then I would have much more time to do more stuff! Yay!
Okay. Here goes... I want to...
♥ learn to play my guitar well ♥ become a half-decent hip-hop dj ♥ learn to skateboard ♥ and snowboard... ♥ and surf! ♥ learn to freestyle rap ♥ take a photography class ♥ travel around the world ♥ volunteer in africa ♥ learn to cook mad good ♥ learn to play the piano ♥ go to university ♥ learn to drive a stick shift ♥ design my own clothing ♥ actually make money doing something i like ♥ take a dance class ♥ or maybe gymnastics! ♥ try kickboxing ♥ develop my painting skillz ♥ learn to cut hair ♥
That's totally all I can think of right now. But how awesome would it be to just be able to say, "Look at all the shit I can do!" Right now I'm able to do most of the things on that list, but none particularly well.

Oh, and a random note: My boyfriend and I are flying out to Calgary at the end of January, and his hairstylist sister is going to do my hair! I think I'm going to cut my hair really short, for the first time ever! Yikes! What do YOU think about that, my lovelies? Long or short? Dye it darker? Lighter? Bright green? I'm up for anything! It's already been almost every color possible. (Want a pic? Just ask, they're funny hehe) This is what it looks like right now:
Mmm, half asleep bed hair. Tasty! I was thinking of doing something like the cut my friend Mallory has here: But a bit different, you know, to not be a total copy cat! Anyways, I hope you're having a wonderful day. My mom actually just volunteered to take me thrifting! I don't think she knows what she's getting into! (I'm a browser, you know, I have to look at every single piece of clothing in the whole store, just in case!) Lovelovelove ♥
